Kevin A Sanya

Research Intern

Kevin A Sanya is a Research Intern at the City Science Lab, HafenCity University Hamburg. He is currently completing an MSc in Urban Studies (Real Estate & Transport) at Malmö University, Sweden, where his research focuses on digital connectivity, access to essential services, and spatial inequalities in African cities. His interests sit at the intersection of urban data, digital inclusion, smart city governance, and resilience, with a particular interest in how technology and infrastructure can support more equitable urban development. Before joining CSL, he worked with UN-Habitat’s Innovation and Smart Cities team in Nairobi and prior to that held roles in real estate, insurance, and business development across East Africa.
